Once more awarded by the 'European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2021' contest
I am delighted to have received a award in the Plants category from this year's GDT organized 'European Nature Photographer of the Year 2021' contest with my image of heather in the last light of the sun. Congratulations to all the other winners and especially to Angel Fitor and Jasper Doest for the beautiful images and accompanying background stories, which everyone should actually watch/read! What a great job!
Due to the corona pandemic, the international nature photo festival in Lünen was canceled for the second time and the award ceremony was again done online. A big thank you to the organizers for the great presentation!
The Italian magazine Asferico published a 14 page interview and portfolio about my work in the December 2020 edition and a photo of mine was also chosen for the cover. Many thanks to Ioannis Schinezos for this interview!
